Our Story & Workshop
SWC Restored Furniture is a dedicated local furniture restoration project based in Horsham, West Sussex. What started as a personal passion for woodworking has naturally grown into a curated collection of unique restored furniture items designed to bring timeless character and warmth into local homes.
We believe in honoring the history of each piece of timber while making sure it fits seamlessly into modern living spaces. Every item that comes through the workshop is treated with individual care and attention.
The Restoration Process
Breathing new life into pre-loved wooden furniture is a hands-on craft. We carefully inspect each piece to protect its original structural integrity, gently sand away years of wear to reveal the deep natural grain of the wood, and nourish the surface using high-quality oils and protective finishes. This meticulous approach ensures that every item not only looks stunning but is built to last for generations to come.
Local Collection & Cash on Collection
To keep our process straightforward and personal, all of our restored furniture pieces are offered strictly on a collection-only basis from our Horsham workshop. There are no shipping fees or delivery hassles to worry about.
- When you find a piece you love, you can easily secure your collection slot directly through our online checkout system.
- Payment for your furniture is handled simply and securely as cash on collection when you arrive to pick up your item.
Sustainability & Craftsmanship
Choosing restored furniture is a wonderfully sustainable choice. By saving solid wood pieces from being discarded and giving them a second chapter, we celebrate traditional craftsmanship and help reduce environmental waste. Every table, cabinet, or statement piece carries its own unique history, ensuring your home gets a truly one-of-a-kind addition.
